Post-war Amsterdam, a city in ruins. Society has suffered and therefore people orient themselves towards safety and uniformity. Amidst this grey world a younger generation breaks free from these social standards.

A rebellious youth movement called ‘Nozems’ emerges. The Nozems developed an unorthodox style inspired by 50’s rock ‘n roll culture: leather jackets, jeans, big quiffs full of pomade. They roamed the streets on motorbikes and gathered in cafés and street corners, creating a presence that was rebellious and magnetic. The Nozems rejected the strict rules of their conservative society and shaped a world of freedom and self-expression.

In all honesty we were shocked to find out the variety of hair types this product excels at. Normally a firm pomade like this is meant to tame the thickest, most stubborn hair.     AMAZING SMELL

    Quality products with great experience. I got the salt spray, paste and pomade and like them all together. Just using a bit and my hair is fixed all day. The smell is amazing as well. Rinses off with water easily, honestly great. Will keep coming back for sure.

    CLAY AND POMADE

    After trying several brands I have now found a combination of products that work well for my thick hair. I use sea salt spray on wet hair and afterwards either the clay or the pomade. Most of the time i’ll use the clay to work and the pomade in the weekends. Would recommend.
